New years eve sucks, come & party with us the week before instead! 

Dance off the excess turkey and christmas pudding to the sounds of some of London's finest hip hop /r&b/boogie selectors at Lockside Lounge in Camden on Saturday 28th December with Uptown Saturday Night. 

We have the incredible Bobafatt from Rough trade/ itch FM, the mighty mixtape master Chris Read from BBE records, the super-producer and scratchmaster DJ Daredevil and myself Dj Matman tearing up the wheels of steel from 9pm - 3am, entry costs a mere 3 squid!

Uptown Saturday Night Edits Vol.2

The second in a series of free EPs in support of the bi-monthly 'Uptown Saturday Night' club night at Camden's Lockside Lounge, 'Uptown Saturday Edits' Volume 2 showcases a trio of lighthearted dancefloor cuts from the DJs playing at the night on 5th October 2013.

Uptown Saturday Night returns to Camden's Lockside Lounge for another of our bi-monthly sessions: All eras Hip Hop, 90s Hip Hop Soul & RnB, 80s Soul & Boogie, Funk, Rare Groove and more. A contemporary popular black music history lesson selected and mixed by three of London's most in demand club movers: MR THING (BBE / Extended Players), CHRIS READ (BBE / Music of Substance) and of course me, MATMAN (DMC / Droppin Science).

Entry just £3 before 12am and £5 after. Doors open til 3am!
