This Saturday is all about the Vibe Bar on East London's Brick Lane, where Droppin' Science residents Nickname, Daredevil & Matman will be joined by our guest DJ Snips (Livin' Proof), providing you with another legendary lesson in hip hop party rocking!

A co-founder & resident dj of London's famous Livin' Proof night, The transatlantic Dj Snips has also made a name for himself as both a dj & producer on both sides of the pond, dividing his time between London & NYC. A tour dj for Immortal Technique, he has also spun for many well known artists as resident dj for Deal Real records (r.i.p.), including Mos Def, Kanye West, John Legend, The Black Eyed Peas, Cassidy, Akir, Pharaoh Monch, Saigon, Ghostface, Dead Prez, Pete Rock & Cl Smooth, The Gza, Estelle, Klashnekoff, Skinnyman and Sway - and produced beats for the likes of M1 (Dead Prez), Shady Records recording artist Cashis, Trife da God, Sav Kills, Spit Supreme, Donny Goines, Ali Vegas, Ness (Bad Boy), Akir, Mysone, Poison Pen, Serius Jones, Planet Asia, Smiff N Wessun, Capadonna, Sean Price, Big Lou, Strong Arm Steady, Jay Arch, Cuban Link, Skyzoo, & Sha Stimuli (US) as well as UK heavyweights Poisonous Poets, Sway, Baby Blue, Stylah, Yungun, Doc Brown, Skinnyman, Lowkey and Durrty Goodz.

Snips has put out several well received mixtapes including "All Elements Vol 9 and 10 with J-Ronin, hosted by Joell Ortiz and Skyzoo (respectively) along with several artist mixtapes for the likes of Math Hoffa, Poison Pen, Duo Live, Liason, Shabaam Sahdeeq and COL.

Droppin' Science w/ Chris Read - This Saturday @ Vibe Bar, 8-3!

Droppin' Science is back this May 7th & this time we've been granted a late license, so we'll be rockin' with you til 3am! Expect a block party style mix of hip-hop, funk & disco breaks & a few surprises. This time around residents Matman, Nickname & Daredevil will be joined by our special guest dj Chris Read (Music of Substance/BBE), who returns after smashing it for us back in April last year.

Chris, a collector of hip hop, funk, soul boogie and related beats and jazz based music since the late eighties came to prominence as a club DJ through his involvement in Substance (one of the UK's largest and longest running hip hop and funk nights) and his 2 year spell as mix DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra. In recent years his steady output of high profile mix albums has allowed Chris to DJ around the globe. However, it is Chris's broad musical taste and knowledge and ability to throw the unexpected into the mis that have sealed his reputation as a popular club DJ. A resident at london's popular clubnights Classic Material & So Much Soul, Chris has recently joined acclaimed record label BBE's roster as a compiler & mix DJ.

Droppin’ Science w/ DJ Swerve (Kiss FM) – October 2nd 2010

Fresh after ramming out the Vibe Bar at the Brick Lane Festival, Droppin' Science returns once again with yet another heavyweight special guest: Dj Swerve.

Swerve holds a regular radio show on Kiss FM, weeknights Monday to Thursday 10pm til Midnight, spinning the best in Hip Hop, RnB & club bangers and featuring interviews with A-list artists from all over the globe. His show recently scooped the 2010 Urban Music Award for best radio show, following last years UMA win for best dj!

Swerve's production skills have also been getting a lot of attention recently, as the man behind the massive 'Street Fighter Riddim' by D Double E, 'Around My Way' by Mystro, & many more - not to mention his highly succesful & well-crafted 'Pure Hip-Hop' & 'Urban Kiss' mix-cds.

Swerve will be joined by Droppin' Science residents Daredevil (DMC Champ), Nickname (55DSL) & Matman (DMC Champ).
